Rape — an anatomy of the society

Rape is, of course, abhorrently a very serious concern in the present day society, repugnant and repulsive to subtle thoughts of human respect in any gentry irrespective of the colour, caste, race or religion, regions, countries, or the nations. The all pervasive and all invasive Devine personality of a women is sacred and sacrosanct which has not to be violated under any spate or spur of violence or the uncontrollable and indomitable lust of sex.

Just visualise and contemplate as to why such occurrences are turning into recurrences and all the trajectory set by the administration is a debris of failures — and again the conundrum of what must be done to irradiate and eliminate the most sinister happenings — and lastly the same old head breaking psychosis of necrophobia being inflicted on the social fabric by the incorrigible demonic evil spirits in human forms.

No one simple factor is responsible for — but there are multifarious pros and cons in so far as the vice and vile of rape is concerned — parental lack of care and rearing of children, ignorance and negligence in the outlook of the streets and neighbourhood, attitudes of schools and colleges on the spiritual and moral facets of the life of the children with no holistic approach in sight — rather they turn both their eyes and ears from this very important facade of making and marring the growth of the coming generations which is the centric point of focus for everyone who lives in this social tie-up.

Temples, religions, and the others (gurus) blowing the conch shells giving clarion calls to the masses day in and day out are somewhat erringly not invoking and inspiring the souls and the consciences of the people.

At the same time the politicians and the governors and the rulers of the day are in themselves not astutely giving their performances a touch of discipline nor are they trying to be the lighthouses for the people to follow the righteous path of life. They are not leading but misguiding their countrymen and stopping them from becoming good citizens by their own act and conduct. Just peep into and you will find it written on their conscience.

Dereliction blended with corruption and enhanced by delays and procrastination is also a major cause for such lamentable scenarios as the present one that has happened in Maharashtra.

Silence at sites and in taking up such matters with the authorities is more serious and dangerous aspect of the reality that is eating into the vitals of not only the victims and their families but also the society at large. One must roar against and send shivers down the spine of the criminals and the likeminded vitiated souls.

It’s not an individual act but a collective attempt at the roots of the vice and all and sundry must join hands in removing, deleting, washing and erasing the black spot from the face of humanity.
